Hall of Fame
Chris Swartz was a four-year letterwinner in football from 1986-90. He also briefly played baseball and basketball for Morehead State. While at MSU, Swartz threw for 9,028 yards and 55 touchdowns.
At the time of his induction in 2002, Swartz held many football season and career records. Among those records are most passing yards in a game and in a career, most passes completed in a game, season and in a career. He also held records for most passes attempted in a game, season and in career, and most touchdowns passes in a game and in a career. He held the most offensive plays in a career as well.
His father Dan Swartz was inducted in the Eagle Athletic Hall of Fame in 1985. They are the only father-son combination in the Hall of Fame.
