Paul Combs played basketball and football in the early 1930’s for Morehead State. He lettered three years in both.

A native of Hazard, Ky., Combs was a member of the first All-Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference basketball team. He is considered one of the outstanding ball handlers in Eagle Basketball history. He also spent two seasons as the starting quarterback for the Eagle football team.
